Our INROOM workshops focus on our holistic approach to acting.

We encourage our actors to experiment, embrace failure, take risks

and confront their own fears and challenges. All while having fun and a laugh.

The atmosphere is electric, supportive and invigorating.

Every actor walks away fulfilled and ready to tackle their next big audition or gig.

TRAIN AT SAC

MELBOURNE 9th November 9-5pm

PERTH 11th & 13th November 6pm-10pm

SYDNEY 16th November 9-5pm

SAC WORKSHOPS ARE A SPACE SAFE.

A safe space encourages actors to push their limits without fear of ridicule, judgements, harsh critic or fear of failure.

We focus on the ACTOR not the acting. We work on helping you find calm and authenticity in your work. We encourage you to be YOU, to celebrate YOU because from this authentic confident place, you can be your best actor.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Actors will work with modern film and TV scripts. We encourage actors to choose material that challenges them, are auditioning for and having difficulty booking, scares them or scenes/characters they will never go for.

Actors will perform in front of a camera, while the class watches on a monitor. The SAC coach will work WITH the actor to explore the scene further, break through any blocks and help them find new territory. We DO NOT want the scene to be perfect. We DO NOT want actors to impress us. We want actors to discover the scene and themselves. Try and FAIL the scene. This is where the juiciest acting lies, on the edge. The danger zone.

Our INROOM classes celebrate failure and pushing yourself to your edge. We want actors to be daring, fearless, experimental, rebellious and irreverent.
